Ms. Roopa Swamy joined GCIS as leaders coach recently. She has a very enriching experience of several decades in the educational industry. For 40 years she has donned various roles in different industries – from an Export Assistant to a Marketing Executive; EA to the CEO in Tata Exports; Counsellor; teacher in leading schools and colleges; after 10 years as Founder Principal of an IGCSE/GCE School she is now a freelancer and presently the Senior Examiner and Monitor for the Examiner Panel in India for Trinity College London and a teacher trainer for Publishers.
A Post Graduate in English and a PG Diploma in Business Administration she continues to learn and enhance her skills.
She was a State Softball player, learned both Kathak and Bharatnatyam, participated and won many inter-school and college debates, speech and drama competitions, served as Secretary and President of the Leo International Club and participated and directed fashion shows.
A positive and practical person; she loves traveling, theatre, sketching, reading, meeting people, and enjoys punning!
