I have had the pleasure of being employed at Global City International School for the past three-four years and it has been a great experience. The work environment is very supportive and the staff are always willing to help each other out. The leadership and management are incredibly supportive, always making sure to provide resources and guidance to both students and teachers alike. It’s been a great opportunity to learn and grow in my career and the people here are genuinely passionate about what they do. 

The school has an amazing academic atmosphere, supported by a variety of extra-curricular activities. The playground is huge and the labs and infrastructure are very well maintained. It’s such a rare sight to see in schools these days, and I’m glad that the students are getting the best learning environment possible. 

Most importantly, the school lives up to its motto ‘Enlighten young minds’ every day! I feel incredibly lucky to be working here!

My journey at Global City International School has been spectacular and overwhelming. The school has positive vibes that make it a beautiful shelter for not only students but also for the teachers and the support staff.

After relocating from Mumbai, starting over new in a different place is always not easy, but the team of GCIS made it as easy as it could have been. Being a part of the GCIS team makes me feel like, I have found a second family.

Working at GCIS helped me develop as an individual holistically as I got to experience different aspects of teaching, caregiving and interactions, which broadened my view on an entirety. Being able to interact and work with students of different age groups, exposed and helped me to various teaching patterns.

The management is supportive and constantly encourages creativity and never fails to appreciate it.

My work experience with GCIS has been a rich learning experience where we transform the students into Glorious confident spectacular individuals. My journey with GCIS started in July 2013 where I joined as a facilitator.It is a pleasure to be a member of the GCIS family. 

It’s a place where we have freedom to express our ideas and implement our skills effectively. This is one organization where I have genuinely felt motivated and empowered as a teacher. Everything we do at GCIS shows integrity and excellence that is refreshing and essential in our daily duties. GCIS exemplifies what it means to be an organization that is united under a common mission, i.e. to nurture children into life-long learners and global citizens.

Like a tree that needs just the right place to spread its branches and grow, I have found a place where I can let my knowledge grow so that my students and I enjoy its fruits. Of the many things I love about the GCIS, what I love the most is the belief that ‘joy’ is the key to true learning, without joy there can be no learning.

The school has always appreciated my hard work and has supported me in evolving in my profession. This makes the school very special to me. If it has given challenges it has also seen that I grow by overcoming those challenges.

I always described GCIS as a “happy place” to all my friends and colleagues and am proud to be a member of the GCIS family. GCIS is a place where we have the freedom to express our ideas and implement our skills effectively. Every day is a new day for me where I get to learn so many new things.

GCIS curriculum is innovative and it provides learning to children in a playful manner. There are learning activities that keep children engaged and focused. There are regular festival celebrations, annual day, sports day, and field trips that make the environment very vibrant.

My first year at GCIS has been a wonderful journey of learning and growth. I have always believed that the atmosphere where you work should be positive, which increases the joy of working and in turn increases productivity. I could not ask for a better school to teach! Faculty members are always cheerful, knowledgeable and supportive. Grade 1 and 2 is the ripe age where children develop self-confidence, curiosity, empathy, and self-control. They need positive and nurturing relationships with parents as well as teachers, which I strongly felt is being provided by our staff and school. At GCIS, every teacher strives to do their best, be it academic or extra-curricular activities and I am blessed to have an opportunity to inspire and be inspired by young people. The teachers here are judged based on multiple observations and I am proud to be a teacher at GCIS as this school is committed to the success of every child.

I joined GCIS in 2016 as a KG teacher. At that time, I was not aware what to expect from my new workplace. Now after being part of the GCIS family for 7 years, I am glad I made the right decision. I received positive support from each section of the school be it the School Head, administration, peer teachers or the support staff.
