World indigenous peoples’ week was celebrated in GCIS in a huge way to make our students to be more aware about world’s indigenous population and contributions that indigenous people make to improve world issues such as environmental protection. The students of CBSE grade I to V presented 42 indigenous tribes picked from different corners of the world like Khasi, Warli, Kodava, Bodo, Somali.
The effort made and interest taken by the parents was evident in the costumes of the children. The enthusiasm and zeal with which the children participated and performed was extremely commendable.
