KG Supermarket Field Trip

There is a common saying – “Not all classrooms have four walls” Field trips provides visual experiences which gives a lasting impression and deepens learning. It gives a break in routine and creates an adventure that refreshes the minds of the students and opens them to new things. The Kindergarten team of GCIS once again set out for another thrilling experience to the Supermarket. It was a short trip yet full of fun and excitement with children singing in all cheerfulness. On reaching, the teachers guided them in taking rounds inside the supermarket thereby exploring all the different sections – fruits and vegetables, dairy products, household goods, cosmetics, etc. Their wondering eyes were full of delight and questions and they were provided with brief explanation about the different sections. The field trip ended with the happy bus ride back to the school and reflecting upon the trip experiences in the classroom.
