Insight On Loss Of Hearing

Pandemic situations have never been easy and have disrupted the fun of school-life which every child misses to the core. Amidst all these situations, students of Grade 8-B proved that, if there is a will there’s a way. They put forward their best and spectacular performance on the topic SOUND. The class was divided into 4 groups and they researched on the topics of SOUND, starting from the fundamentals of Sound to Defects of Hearing, NIHL, Advanced technologies in the field and Care of Ears.

Students started the event with enlightening information about the scientific concept of Sound and how it affects the Characteristics of Hearing. Impressive models of the Ear and working model of the Ear was designed by Students that added to the glory of the Event. The event then progressed on to identifying the reasons and factors contributing to the Major and alarming concern of the world, Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). They also discussed the effects of NIHL, solutions and the emerging technologies to tackle the issue. Special emphasis was provided on measures that are adopted to address this concern and how we as individuals adapting different roles play an important role to comprehend the problem. Show stopper of the event was an instrumental music rendition by the Students which was a surprising element.
