Empowering Education, GCIS Students Lead Library Initiative

On 18th November 2024, seven Kannada-speaking students from GCIS—Sameeksha, N. Saindhavi, Sainaman K. Hanasi, Suhani Kalgudi, Jnana Arjuna, Vivaan N, and Riddhi—participated in a meaningful community service project at a government school.

During the visit, our students introduced the concept of libraries, demonstrated effective library management, and shared insights from our classroom library practices. To support learning, they donated 118 books spanning various subjects and languages, conducted engaging storybook reading sessions, and added a touch of joy by distributing chocolates to the young learners.

This initiative not only enriched the resources available to the government school students but also instilled leadership, empathy, and social responsibility in our students—a testament to the transformative power of education and the impact of giving back to the community.

We are immensely proud of our students for making a difference and embodying the true spirit of GCIS!
