Blending Tradition and Innovation, Workshops by Ms. Aksinya Staar at GCIS

We were honoured to host Ms. Aksinya Staar, a polymath and transformative multidisciplinary leader, for a series of impactful workshops tailored for the facilitators and pedagogues of GCIS. Known for her expertise in “Future Thinking Specialisation,” Ms. Staar addressed complex organisational and educational challenges of the 21st century with innovative and practical approaches.

By blending the traditional wisdom of the Gurukul model with modern digital literacy, Ms. Staar introduced polymathic approaches through project-based learning, focusing on interconnectedness, sustainable living, and ethical education.

These training programs were designed to equip educators with tools to tackle global polycrises such as climate change and economic inequality. They fostered a mindset rooted in cross-disciplinary learning, promoting professional development, critical analysis, adaptability, and innovation.

The sessions empowered both teachers and students to develop the global competence needed to address tomorrow’s complex challenges in an ever-evolving world. Thank you, Ms. Aksinya Staar, for inspiring us to think bigger and lead with purpose!
