Visit To Mysore With Our Russian Guests

Intercultural collaboration, International understanding, and learning by doing are at the core of everything we do at Global City International School. We are hosting a group of people from Russia who are here to experience the Indian way of living, and learning. This group of students and teachers visited Mysore with faculty and students from GCIS on 24th June 2018.

‘’It was an excellent trip; we enjoyed every bit of it” says Mr. Victor who is a Geography teacher in his motherland. The team started early in the morning from the school campus, and returned late in the evening. The whole day was spent in Mysore sightseeing, and learning about this place of historical importance. The Mysore palace did not fail to astonish the foreign visitors. It is their luck to have had an excellent tour guide explain to them the history of not only the dynasty, but also the history of the palace, and the kings who reigned from there.

More than anything, the visitors were left speechless with the owe inspiring hosts of the Mysore zoo. Hailed to be one of India’s best zoological parks, it stuns visitors with birds, animals, and reptiles from across the globe.
