Overcoming Stress & Exam Fear Workshop on Learning & Growth for Grades 9 & 11

On 24th February 2025, Grade 9 and 11 students at GCIS participated in an insightful workshop titled “Overcoming Challenges in Learning: Stress, Procrastination & Math/Exam Fear.” The session, led by Ms. Roslin Richard, our Student Advisor & SEN Incharge, provided students with essential strategies to navigate academic challenges with confidence.

Opening Insights
The workshop began with an inspiring address by Executive Principal, Mr. Venkata Suresh Lolla, who shared valuable perspectives on personal growth, future roles, and strategies for success.

Understanding stress and its effects on learning
Overcoming procrastination and improving focus
Strategies to tackle math anxiety and exam fear
Effective stress management techniques for academic success

Engaging Activities:
Balloon bursting for stress relief
Self-reflection on procrastination habits
A math confidence booster activity
Guided breathing exercises
Identifying learning styles (Visual, Auditory & Kinesthetic)

The interactive and engaging session empowered students with practical tools and techniques, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
