A field trip to ‘My Dream Garden’ was organized for students of Grades 3 & 4 CBSE. The farm was laden with fresh, crispy and colourful vegetables and fruits. The greenery was a soothing balm to all. The students and teachers alike were overjoyed to see various kinds of vegetables and fruits. We were extended a hearty welcome by the owner of the farm. He took us around the farm to show us the plants. We learnt many interesting facts about plant life. We learnt how to grow vegetables and fruits even in smaller capacities like the balconies of our homes and roof tops. Students were excited to recognize the plants of different fruits and vegetables like pomegranate, brinjal, tomato, chillies, mint, bottle guard, flat beans, lettuce, spinach and basil.
It was an informative and enjoyable trip.
