Global City International School was alive with energy, innovation, and cultural celebration on Day 2 of the AFS South Zone School Meet 2025.
The day began with an insightful keynote by Dr. A. Senthil Kumaran on “PISA for Schools,” setting an inspiring tone for progressive education.
Mr. Amith Nadig then mesmerised the audience with a fascinating session on the connection between Math and Music. This was followed by engaging and forward-thinking discussions on Generative AI by Mr. Praveen Ahuja and Future-Ready Skills by Ms. Manisha Sriraman.
Participants explored their creative side through a hands-on art session, Creative Assemblage on Chittara Art, led by Ms. Geeta Bhat. Everyone proudly carried home their own beautiful piece of traditional art, adding a personal touch to the day.
While chapter meetings took place, students kept their spirits high with an energetic Zumba session that had everyone moving and smiling.
The evening concluded with a warm community dinner, followed by the charm of a Bangalore Darshan by night, the perfect ending to a day full of learning, creativity, and togetherness.
