I feel blessed to study in one of the most prestigious and esteemed schools in the city.. In contrast to other schools, my school does not solely focus on academic performance. In other words, it emphasizes the overall development of their students. Along with our academics, extra-curricular activities are also organized at our school.

I am a student of Global City International School. So, naturally I have to be a clever, confident and bold girl. For me, my school is more than simply an educational institution; it is also like my family. It has outstanding teachers and staff, who are loving, supportive and fully accessible. I appreciate the way the teachers encourage us to speak and interact with them. The school promotes intellectual, social and cultural awareness among students. So it is not an exaggeration to say that the school helps me it achieving my goals.

At GCIS, the teachers have helped me to polish my skills. It has helped me grow from someone who was in a shell to someone who is comfortable and proud of oneself. Over the past few years, being a part of the GCIS community played a major role in my journey to achieve many goals and has helped me become the woman I am today.

Being an international student who was studying in India for the very first time would have not been easy if it hadn’t been for the welcoming and supportive GCIS committee. GCIS has unfolded a window of opportunities that has expanded my exposure to a variety of programmes/activities. One of the most intriguing programmes that I had experienced during my time here was the ‘AFS Exchange Programme’ because I had the once in a lifetime experience of a unique learning process with students from across the globe. GCIS has also offered a variety of competitions in diverse fields which has significantly helped with my personal development of essential skills such as critical thinking, creativity and analysis. In addition, another one of my favorite experiences here was performing in the very first fundraiser hosted by the Cambridge students for young cancer patients. Such opportunities have made GCIS such an exciting learning space for students.

Apart from the wonderful academic experience here, I have forged golden relationships with the teachers and my fellow peers. Walking down the hallways everyday, brings back a plethora of memories and lessons that have molded every student here to become proud citizens of the future. GCIS isn’t just a school to me, it is the chapter I never want to end.

I am a student at a Global City International School so far I have had a great experience. The teachers are very supportive and provide a healthy environment that keeps us productive. The faculty and staff provide a very welcoming feeling. The way of teaching is engaging and enjoyable. GCIS is also a green school which shows its care towards the environment. Overall I am very happy to be a student at GCIS.

At GCIS I enjoyed numerous opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and interact with a diverse range of students through international exchange programs which truly helped broaden my horizons.

For me, GCIS is more than simply an educational institution; it is also my second family, which I established during my childhood. A family of wonderful friends, outstanding teachers, and fond school memories. Every year keeps getting challenging and interesting, yet nothing has ever stopped me from moving forward, especially when we have teachers who assist us in effortlessly overcoming difficulties, sharing moments of enjoyment together, and looking forward to new paths. Above all, it gives me a platform to do better in life and also builds my personality. I feel blessed to study in one of the most prestigious and esteemed schools in the city. If someone asked me what I have learned from my school, I won’t be able to answer it in one sentence. For the lessons are irreplaceable and I can never be thankful enough for them.

GCIS to me is a precious sky: a special place where one learns to appreciate each element knowing that spectacles appear only when all the elements gather. A typical 8 to 3 day of studying is not what you see at our school, because the GCIS mindset is consistent with incorporating culture, respect, and nature in our lifestyle. Not only do we have the chance to host and participate in cultural exchange programs, but the social events held in-house, like ‘Concordia’ are awe-inspiring displays that let no talent go untouched. The interactive and challenging year plan (filled with competition and projects) carried out by our enthusiastic teachers has prepared us to gel well in realistic dynamic scenarios where a multi-skilled person is required.  Stepping into school means being welcomed by a green and therapeutic environment, which helps us connect and respect nature more. Each year here has allowed me to explore the limits of my capabilities, such as leading, singing, anchoring, dancing, and designing. Through challenges, victories, and memories, I am who I am today with GCIS: Here is the place to be.

As a student of 8th grade, I had a challenging year. The change to more difficult assignments and the expectation to do well were difficult for me. However, I was fortunate to have outstanding teachers and classmates in GCIS who encouraged me and assisted me in learning and studying. I feel like I learned a lot about myself and what I’m capable of conquering even though it wasn’t an easy year. I appreciate the help I’ve gotten from my family, seniors and teachers. GCIS has magnificent facilities, faculties and a beautiful environment. I look forward to more upcoming challenges with a new sense of resilience and determination.

GCIS has shaped me into the person I am today. This school has provided me with myriad opportunities to set a path to explore myself as a pupil and learner. It has helped me view the world from different perspectives and has consistently supported me throughout my journey. Since I laid my feet ten years ago, I have always been treated like the faculty’s own child, making this place my second home. To no one’s surprise, I have grown as a person, not only in my academics but in my ethics, morals and co-curricular achievements. It sets the ground for holistic development and never fails to provide the best foundation for students. Everyone is treated equally in GCIS, and I am proud to say that I have been a part of this incredible journey.

I am Pradhithee. Here I would like to share my thoughts about my school ‘GCIS.’ After a long break coming back to school again is not a huge thing to think about but meeting new
people and adapting to the new environment is a great thing. Many a times we would not be convinced with our environment or the people around us but this school gave me a warm welcome which I loved. I like the teachers who gave me tons of support and encouragement.
My teachers motivated me and I would surely become a good human being as a token of gratitude to them. Their inspiring stories made me strong. I like my school, teachers and friends very much.
