Our Grade 1 to 5 students had an incredible day at PRANI – The Pet Sanctuary, where they experienced the joy of connecting with animals in a hands-on learning environment! From playful ponies to fascinating reptiles, the sanctuary was brimming with excitement and discovery.
In small groups, the children learned how to safely handle and care for different animals, getting up close and personal with them! They were thrilled to meet rescued animals, including majestic Emus, beautiful birds, friendly goats, curious snakes, lovable pigs, donkeys, and even adorable guinea pigs and hedgehogs!
These remarkable rescued animals stole the hearts of our young learners, teaching them valuable lessons on kindness, empathy, and the importance of animal welfare. The joy and excitement were palpable as the students interacted with their furry and feathery friends, making it a memorable and enriching experience!
