Students in CBSE Grades 6-10 at GCIS celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of our national language through a range of vibrant activities. The event began with Pat Katha, a traditional storytelling session featuring the renowned tale of Vikram and Betal, followed by a powerful street play with a thought-provoking message. The audience was delighted by the energetic Lilliput dance and a humorous skit titled “Chief ki Dawat,” adding both laughter and cultural insights to the programme.
A creative puppet dialogue, rich with idioms, added a unique charm to the event, while the role-play segment allowed students to express themselves dramatically. The celebration concluded with a captivating folk dance, paying tribute to India’s cultural richness.
